  4. Sound Laundry 2.1 (tm) is a real-time audio restoration tool, which allows you to 
  5. "wash" your old vinyl (or even shellac) records and tape recordings in real time.
  6.  
  7. This demo version of Sound Laundry 2.1 consists of an advanced wave-file-player
  8. and a set of PlugIns, which can be chained to suit the individual need of the
  9. material to be processed.
  10.  
  11. In addition to Sound Laundry 2.0 this version accepts MPEG layer3 files as input
  12. and will automatically start playback if a file is dropped on the desktop icon of
  13. AlgoPlug 2.1.
  14.  
  15. Included in this demo are:

  17.    *  PlugIn-Station   is the host for all the PlugIns and handles the sound I/O
  18.    *  De-Scratcher     removes scratches and clicks from records
  19.    *  De-Noiser        removes hum, noise, tape-hiss etc. with "fingerprint" option
  20.    *  Analyzer         allows professional FFT-Analysing of your material
  21.    *  DC-removal       removes the DC introduced from e.g. multimedia sound-cards
  22.    *  High-Lowpass     with adjustable edge frequencies and slopes

  24. The demo of Sound Laundry 2.1 provides almost full functionality except:

  26.   - PlugIn usage is limited to 1 minute
  27.   - Generation of wave-files is disabled (no offline processing)
  28.   - Live in to out through the effect chain is disabled

  42. Installation:

  45. Simply run the sl21demo.exe from anywhere on your harddisk. It is a self-extracting
  46. installation, all files of the setup process will be deleted automatically when the
  47. setup is finished or cancelled. The setup creates an entry in the windows database and,
  48. if selected, an uninstall icon in the start menu, allowing easy and complete de-
  49. installation of the program.
